I've finally started looking through our pictures from Hawaii and Utah. We had such a great vacation. We always love being with our families. I love being somewhere with a view. Sometimes there are too many trees in VA. It is late so I'll post more later.

Another Season

We have officially finished soccer for the season. Nate, Spence and Sam all love to play, and Cameron is a pretty good spectator. It was a good season. Matt coached Spencer's team again and they had a great little team. Sam was so excited to get his trophy which was a bobble-head trophy that Sam thought was him. Nate's team had some rough games but Nate plays hard any time he is on the field! There isn't a tougher kid out there for his size. I love to watch them play and I'm working on getting some good pictures of them too. Getting a good shot is hard stuff.

Cute Cam

Sam - Lightning

Spence - Raptors

Playing Hookie

On a nice day a couple of weeks ago, I took the boys to the zoo instead of going to school. We FINALLY saw the Komodo Dragon and he even stuck his tongue out for us. (That picture is for you Jaxson.) We also saw an exhibit of invertebrates. Some pretty cool things. We had a fun time even though Sam and Spence got blisters.

Memorial Day

We started a tradition last year to wake up early in the morning and visit some of the memorials while the sun is rising. We haven't made it before sunrise yet, but getting us all there by 6:30 in the morning was a pretty good accomplishment. We had some fun taking pictures and the boys all took turns with my camera. Sam took the picture of Matt and me. The boys each made a card to leave at the memorial to say thanks. I love living near Washington. I hope the boys will have an appreciation for our country and for the people who made it great. We were a bit sleepy the rest of the day, but it was a good start.

One Lucky Mom

It is Mother's Day and I am one lucky mom. The highlight of my day was the breakfast in bed the boys made me themselves. Cereal from Nate, toast from Spencer, banana from Sam, blueberries and a cookie on the side. Matt had gone to his meetings and they were so excited and proud. Then they went on to get themselves dressed(I guess we were all in a blue mood) and teeth brushed without being asked. It was heavenly! I have the best boys. I love them to death and their dad too.

My first time...

I am starting a blog to stay in touch a little better. If we can't be near our family, you may as well know what we are up to.
