Another Memorial
After the pentagon memorial, we walked up the hill to the Air Force Memorial. I loved it and I have to go back with my real camera. I think our point and shoot did pretty well though. These are the last pictures it took, because Matt got swamped in his canoe on his last scout camp-out with the camera in his pocket and it hasn't recovered. So sad. Anyway, it was a beautiful view of the city and we'll definitely go back.

All these posts about visitors and doing fun things makes me want to come visit. I'm so sad we weren't able to make it out to VA this year. We've been every year for the past 5! I guess we still have time (wink wink).
The Air Force and Pentagon Memorials look so neat. I know Ray and RuLynn were impressed with both of them. We're glad you were able to go do some fun things and spend time with them.
I love the pictures you took of the memorials, that looks like a neat place...it doesn't seem that long ago when you and I drove to the roadside memorial just right after 9/11!
